Sorry all - don't see a way to delete thread - had a domain that was disabled due to a failed ICANN verification, and got it resolved.

Looks like you need to talk to your registrar:

Code:
❯ whois starkravenmusic.com | head -20

Whois Server Version 2.0

Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered
with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net
for detailed information.

   Domain Name: STARKRAVENMUSIC.COM
   Registrar: TUCOWS DOMAINS INC.
   Whois Server: whois.tucows.com
   Referral URL: http://domainhelp.opensrs.net
   Name Server: NS1.STARKRAVENMUSIC.COM
   Name Server: NS2.STARKRAVENMUSIC.COM
   Status: clientHold
   Updated Date: 28-aug-2014
   Creation Date: 11-dec-2005
   Expiration Date: 11-dec-2014

A "whois" lookup says

Updated Date: 2014-08-12 03:21:19
Name Server: NS1.STARKRAVENMUSIC.COM
Name Server: NS2.STARKRAVENMUSIC.COM

That's 17 days ago.

However a DNS lookup for NS records returns an error.

This makes me think your registration entry doesn't have the proper glue records.

The question you ask isn't one we can answer; it's going to depend on _your_ setup. What DNS server have you configured to be authorative for the domain? If you programmed them into the linode DNS service then, yes, ns1.linode.com etc etc are the right values. However, ns1.linode.com doesn't know about this domain.

Looking at your dm-gremlim.com config and using those DNS settings then I get the right result. So maybe you just need to update your registrar settings and supply IP addresses for ns1 and ns2; this will create the glue records.

I'm not sure why folks do this, but it's pretty detrimental to collective learning. When you delete your question, it removes any ability for people who have the same question in the future to benefit from this discourse.
