Hey everyone!

I have created a 2GB webserver linode, and now need to make a 4GB one. The question is this:

Is it better to clone the existing one and grow it
-or-
Build a new linode and configure it

What have your experiences been? Questions for clarity welcomed.

Mike

Better how?

If you clone-n-grow™, its less work, build--it-new verifies your "build log" so that you know if you ever have to rebuild from scratch your documentation is up-to-date and valid. Either one has minimal downtime since the original 2G will be up and running while the new 4G site is being made/configured/tested/etc.

So it's mainly a case of Potato/Kartoffel - pick which one works best for you.
