Hi. Yesterday I wanted to pay my outstanding balance, but it is being a more chore than ever. Partially my fault, and partially because Linode has decided to eat $25 into a dark hole.

I made 4 payments int total. 3 out of 4 were rejected because I didn't have enough funds. These are the times I sent the payments (in AST time).

8:46 am (rejected)
3:58 pm (rejected)
6:25 pm (accepted)
6:27 pm (rejected)

I called my bank to confirm if my payment went through and they did confirm the payment I sent at 6:25 PM was accepted and processed, and my card was charged $25. But my Linode account still thinks I have an overdue of $25.

Now, I believe this is what caused the payment. I had charged money to my credit card at around 3:50 PM, so I wanted to pay at 3:58. Since the payment was rejected, I waited a few hours for my card to be ready. I left that Linode payment page open for a few ours. Then I paid at 6:25 PM. Because I left the Linode page open for hours, I must have paid when my session expired in the server. I was prompted to log in again and when I was redirected I saw the outstanding balance, prompting me to pay again.

It is then when I called my bank and they confirmed my payment from 6:25 PM was accepted and processed. But since I wasn't really logged in my Linode account, it must have gone missing.'

Please just help me with this. So far it feels like Linode is stealing $25 out of me and the guy I was talking to in a support ticket did not read the ticket properly and he is pretty unresponsive. I can provide evidence that I, in fact, did pay at 6:25 PM AST. Your system just went bonkers since it didn't keep my session alive when I was in the payments page.
