Hi,
I moving my site from shared hosting to Linode 2GB and I have some performance issue. I install the site with the following configuration:
Ubuntu 14.04
PHP 5.59
Apache 2.4.7
MeridaDB
HHVM
Memcache
mod_expire + mod_diflate enable.
I use the linode documentation to configure PHP and SQL for 2GB performance.
The site is Virtuemart E-commerce (install on Joomla 2.5) .
When I test the site speed I get 2 times faster results then my cornet shared hosting with is great! However when I open 5 tabs and check how the site response with few tabs open (on chrome) the site page loading slower than my shared hosting site…
The server is using 1GB ram only and the CPU using no more than 20%.
Can you please tell me what can be wrong?
