I run java stuff, so I gotta jump into this thank-fest. Thanks, linode! Linode is the best. One small step for memory, a giant leap for IO tokens...

Excellent, thanks!

Out of curiosity, how did you add memory without rebooting the host? Or are there just fewer linodes on the host now?

For an extra 16Mb of RAM, I'll lose my 133 day uptime :-) :-)

Thanks!

Excellent! I'm glad to see this happen!

Of course, this isn't the first time that a free upgrade has come around... I was around when the disk space was upped, too.

As much as I hate rebooting, this is one time where a reboot is worthwhile. :)

Dude, Linode, thank you!!! The generosity of this company continues to amaze me. It was only like 2 months ago that I got extra bandwidth for free too. Thanks a bunch!

Each host has tons of ram to spare (so ppl can add ram to their accounts if they need too). My host has like 4GB spare ram last I looked.

To take advantage of the new RAM, please reboot your Linode.

Obviously I've got to start reading the announcement forum more often, since I just saw this.

Thanks.
