Anyone done the recent stable GCC update from
3.3.6 to 3.4.4-r1?

I am a little nervous about doing this.

Gentoo web sites lists a couple of ways to build packages that need to be rebuilt. What did you do on your linode? Any hangups? I'm guessing there is not any kernel incompatabilities?

Done it with the partial rebuild method (only libstdc++ deps rebuilt). No problem.
