Hey all,

Quite a while ago actually Linode redesigned their LPM, and I guess decided not to include a link to the Community section of the site in the top tabs. Its no big deal, but I check the forums often and decided to write a SMALL Greasemonkey Script to add it for me.

There are three versions of the script, one that goes to the community page, and one that goes directly to the forums, and one with both. Only install one and uninstall it if you wish to change.

"Community" Link Only:
http://files.spectralcoding.com/files/l ... mm.user.js

"Forums" Link Only:
http://files.spectralcoding.com/files/l ... ra.user.js

Both "Community" & "Forums" Link:
http://files.spectralcoding.com/files/l ... th.user.js

For those that don't have Greasemonkey, or don't know what it is take a look at the following link:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

It is my first Greasemonkey script. Its not elaborate (and it doesnt need to be), but it works just fine. Granted if caker decides to change the LPM again, it probably will not work.

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks,
Smark

Edit: I know this is the Request/Report forum, but I felt this was the most appropriate place for this thread. If the staff think it should be moved then by all means move it.

Hey,

Thanks. I've been waiting for the links to be reintroduced (and I should have thought about writing a script myself!).

Can any Linode staff comment on any changes made to the LPM in the past 24-48 hours? The Greasemonkey script appears to be broken and I can't see any obvious changes.

Has anyone else who uses the script found that it stopped working recently?

I'll look into this more tomorrow!

Just installed the "Community & Forum" version in Chrome (4.0.249.11) and it works great. Thanks for this .. Sorry I couldn't confirm your bug.

No changes were made.

Alright, its limited to my system then. I'll track it down.

Please drop me a line if anyone else encounters this issue!

Edit: Script Kiddie moment, turns out Greasemonkey got disabled somehow. I know I didn't do it and no one has used this laptop. Oh well, false alarm.
