 Post subject: clean url + drupal issue

Clean url isn't working for me in my fresh drupal instalation:
I have created a site - /srv/www/site.com
I have tried to edit .htaccess file and uncomment
RewriteBase /site.com
And tried RewriteBase /

I have tried to break the .htaccess to see if there is a call and I have got 500 error page so it does.

I have tried to uncomment the $base_url at settings.php +changing to the real domain.
Nothing yet.

Help will be grate!

Is there any server configurations for my next websites?
